After solidifying its position as a skilled fee-based information service bureau, InfoAction is refocusing its efforts and marketing for the 21st century.

A change in management brought a request for a new identity system and website, that would reflect this change and signal a new era of service to the business community.

The initial revision of the logo was focused on updating the existing "Running Man" but the outcomes were not satisfactory from both a technical standpoint as well as acceptance with the client.

Shifting focus to a review of colour provided the need breakthrough and building on the new jade-green feel of the site I formulated the datawave mark now in use.

InfoAction is unique in that it's one of the few services that the library provides for a fee. Although the service relies on it's association with the library for credibility, it is also an independent business unit. Because of this arrangement we chose to keep InfoAction distinct from VPL.

The website’s content was rewritten and restructured for a better fit with some refashioned service offerings and the quote submission form was extended to capture more crucial information from potential clientele and the market in general.

The CSS/XHTML based website's photographic banners were sourced from stock photography and colour adjusted to match the new jade-green livery of the service.

InfoAction staff unanimously agreed that the new design captured and expressed their business unit's ideas and attitudes.
